Cau Island is no tourist destination. Therefore, there is a special procedure when you want to camp here. Let’s just say it includes a lot of paperwork … But once you’re done with this paradise awaits.

The boats leaves from Ca Na. It departs twice a year for Campfire Stories: once in August and once in July. After a 40-minute boat ride, our small group arrives ashore.

The island has one of Vietnam’s best protected ecological environments. With its beautiful white sand beaches and blue seawater this island has been planned to be a marine life preservation zone.

This 2-day (1 night) escape to Cu Lao Cau Islands is designed for people looking for a hideaway and a chance to return back to nature, spending quality time together. Due to this Small Island not being developed for tourism, the infrastructure is very basic.

Fun to know: you may see turtles laying their eggs somewhere between May and September.
